Band 3- Senior Support Worker- Rowan Ward
Salary: £16,968 to £19,852, pa plus generous enhancements

Due to the on-going development of our service and further internal promotion of a number of our existing support workers, we are able to offer an exciting opportunity to join Rowan ward as a senior support worker.
What do we do?
If you have a keen interest in the specialist field of dementia- either with a wealth of experience or just beginning your journey within dementia care, then we would be delighted to hear from you. Prospect Park Hospital has a purpose built high quality environment specifically for dementia- care with wide wandering corridors, sensory rooms and utilising latest research base regarding reminiscence equipment we have a ‘pop up ‘ pub.
We provide vital support to patients and families affected by dementia. We provide both clinical and emotional support, practical advice and therapeutic interventions to ensure patients have the best quality care during their hospital stay.
What is the role of a support worker in Rowan Ward?
Our support workers are highly valued and essential team members, supporting the qualified staff and working closely with patients, carrying out patient observations, assisting at meal times and with personal care.
