Windsor & Maidenhead Community Mental Health Team is seeking to recruit a committed, highly motivated band 6 or 5 Community Psychiatric Nurse to serve in a Care Coordinator role for clients on his/her caseload.
The successful candidate will work with health and social care colleagues within the integrated adult mental health service to deliver high quality mental healthcare within a community setting. This post will provide the opportunity to gain further skills and experience in working in a progressive and supportive CMHT. Supervision, multi-disciplinary team support and opportunities for professional development will be provided.
Based in Maidenhead at Nicholson’s House, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a challenging and diverse role. You will be joining an experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team in a supportive working environment, with a visible and accessible management team who priorities supportive supervision and a commitment to staff training/development.
Requirement - You must be appropriately professionally qualified (RMN) with at least 1 years post registration experience in an acute psychiatric or community setting for the Band 6 & have understanding of care coordination, personalisation, & safeguarding. You must also have a driving license and have daily use of a car.
An enthusiastic less experienced RMN would be considered for the band 5, which could lead on to progression to band 6 within Berkshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
