What’s special about this opportunity?
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust can provide you with a dynamic, people-centred environment, in our innovative team, working in our newly upgraded therapy suite, in the community and clinic.
Join us and you will be empowered to adopt a patient-centred approach to care, which maximises independence, choice and control, following our philosophy of enabling people to reach and maintain their optimum level of health and wellbeing.
We value our employees and put people first. We will provide you with an excellent working environment that has just been recognised with a ‘Good’ rating overall, and as an ‘Outstanding’, well-led, organisation in our latest CQC inspection, which found that: ‘Managers across Berkshire Healthcare promoted a positive culture that supported and valued staff, creating a sense of common purpose based on shared values.’
Working in a passionate team, you will have access to our Trust-wide Learning and Development programme and be supported in your career and personal growth with opportunities to develop both clinically and managerially, helping you to build your Continuing Professional Development portfolio, enabling you to extend your skills and ensure that you excel.
We are pioneers in compassionate leadership and Quality Improvement, which is about creating a culture where everyone has a voice and where service users and staff collaborate to have a direct impact on the things that matter most.
You are an enthusiastic and experienced physiotherapist, with significant experience working in a broad rotational post, including specialist areas, such as orthopaedics, medical care of the elderly, neurological and musculoskeletal. Bringing energy and creativity to Berkshire Healthcare initiatives, such as our falls strategy group and national audits, you will have excellent communication and people skills, and be confident explaining complex and sensitive information to patients, carers and other professionals. Motivating and reassuring those in your care, you will be an empathetic advocate for patients, supporting them in their preferences, safeguarding their dignity, and ensuring that their social, cultural and spiritual needs are met. Proactive, you will ensure seamless delivery across a multi-disciplinary team. You will be an inspirational leader, supporting colleagues in the delivery of compassionate, safe and structured care. Eager to share your knowledge when managing and mentoring more junior physiotherapists, assistants, students and multidisciplinary staff, you will be committed to the continual improvement of our service. Working in the community, you will enjoy working across multiple sites and have access to your own car. Your energy and drive will be rewarded with the support of a dedicated team that strives to create a progressive, warm and considerate environment.
If you share our passion for people and the dedication to excel, we’d love to hear from you.
